“We call upon the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government…”

some suggestions –

Ø       To ensure no legislation is introduced that discriminates unfairly against men as victims of domestic abuse or violence

Ø       Take note of empirical research, adopt a non-gendered approach to domestic abuse and use evidence based interventions to help families

Ø       To ensure no victim of violence and abuse is treated unequally because of their gender or the perpetrator’s gender.

Ø       To ensure no victim or perpetrator of violence and abuse is treated unequally because of their gender.

Ø       To ensure no person affected by violence and abuse is treated unequally because of their gender.

Ø       To ensure all people afflicted by violence and abuse are treated equally regardless of their gender.

Ø       To ensure all people afflicted by violence and abuse are treated fairly, justly and equally.

    Recognise that Domestic Abuse perpertrators and victims are not gender specifc. Abusers should be punished, victims deserve justice and protection, regardless of their genders.
